MAN CHARGED WITH VANDALISING WAR MEMORIAL

Port Macquarie’s war memorial has been the target of a senseless act of vandalism, which has left veterans shaking their heads.

Police have charged a 47-year-old man – he’s accused of covering the statue with offensive slogans.
