Two men have been assaulted during a violent home invasion on the Gold Coast.
Police say that just before 11:30pm last night, a man forced his way into an apartment on Cypress Avenue in Surfers Paradise.
It’s alleged one of the occupants was punched in the head causing minor injuries, while a second man had his jaw broken after also being punched and kicked.
He was taken to Gold Coast University Hospital for treatment.
