BESSELING RESIGNS AS HASTINGS MAYOR

Port Macquarie-Hastings residents are set to return to the polls, following the shock resignation of Mayor Peter Besseling.

Mr Besseling has stepped down to take on the role of Managing Director of local company Birdon Marine.
