The Hunter’s Thomas Fraser-Holmes will fight a potential two-year ban for missing a random drug test.
Under FINA rules, swimmers must nominate where they’ll be for an hour, every day.
The 25-year-old incurred a third strike while having dinner at his mum’s, instead of being at home.
“I was with my family and we were just spending time chit-chatting away and when I realised I wasn’t going to be home I changed my whereabouts hour.”
The FINA board meets in June.
“I’ve never returned a positive sample and I never will.”
