Port Macquarie-Hastings residents will head to the polls on July 29 to elect a new Mayor, following Peter Besseling’s sudden resignation last week.
Nominations close the day before, and so far, councillors Rob Turner and Sharon Griffiths have both declared their intention to run.
Should either of them win, it’ll trigger a second by-election for their councillor position.
