Work is underway to install safety screens on two bridges on the Oxley Highway in Port Macquarie.
The State Government has funded the barriers to improve safety for motorists travelling underneath, by hopefully deterring rock throwers.
The installation is being carried out in stages, with temporary lane closures in place on John Oxley Drive.
It’s expected to be finished by the end of the month.
