A woman in her 50’s has died after the car she was in left the road and hit a tree on the Gold Coast.
Police believe the vehicle was travelling west on The Panorama in Tallai around 8pm last night, when it left the road and crashed into a tree.
A 57-year-old Mudgeeraba woman, who was a passenger in the car, died at the scene.
The male driver has been taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a critical condition.
