A man and a woman will face Coffs Harbour Local Court after two pharmacies were allegedly broken into earlier this week.
On Thursday night, thieves allegedly attempted to steal a large amount of drugs from a pharmacy on Park Beach Road in Coffs Harbour, but the offenders fled the scene empty handed.
Then, early Friday morning a pharmacy on Bowra Street in Urunga was broken into and a large amount of pharmaceutical drugs were allegedly stolen.
Police investigations led to the execution of a search warrant at a home on South Street in Urunga, where they allegedly recovered a large quantity of pharmaceutical medicines.
A 24-year-old man and a 42-year-old woman were and charged with two counts of aggravated break and enter.
