VARIETY BASH ROLLS INTO PORT

A loud and colourful convoy of cars rolled into Port Macquarie today, as part of the 27th annual Variety Vic Bash.

The group left Melbourne last week, on a week-long mission to raise money for children in need.

“In the first 2 days in Victoria, we gave away $170,000 worth of equipment, so it’s been fantastic, and we’re on our way to Fraser Island to have some fun,” Variety – The Children’s Charity CEO Janette Connolly said.

250 crazy characters are taking part in the annual pilgrimage.

This year’s target is $1.2 million.
