A 40-year-old woman has been killed, in a sickening road accident on the Gold Coast.
In wet conditions, the driver had been attempting to exit the Pacific Motorway, when she crashed into a road sign, flipping the vehicle into the path of oncoming traffic.
Another car was caught up in the tragedy, seriously injuring a 53-year-old man.
