RYAN CALLINAN ELIMINATED IN PORTUGAL IN ROUND FOUR

Merewether surfer Ryan Callinan has crashed out in round four of the 10,000 point Qualifying Series event in Portugal.
Up against Hawaii’s Ezekiel Lau and Brazil’s Jesse Mendes, Callinan made a slow start… before a four-point-five got him back in the mix.
“Lay back and executes on that closing manoeuvre, that’s more like it from Ryan Callinan.”
But he still needed at least a five-point-five on his last ride, and came up just short.
