BATKOVIC SIGNS ON FOR ONE MORE SEASON WITH TOWNSVILLE

She said she’d be staying put after another WNBL title.. and today it became official.
The Hunter’s Suzy Batkovic has re-signed with the Townsville Fire for one more year.
The six-time MVP and current club captain will spearhead the Fire’s title defence next season.
In the meantime, she’s also taken up a contract to play in France.
The 37-year-old has subsequently ruled out a return to the national side for the Commonwealth Games.
