PORT ADELAIDE CLAIM 23 POINT WIN OVER SWANS

The Sydney Swans will need to get back to basics, if they’re to beat the Giants in the Sydney derby this weekend.

Leading Port Adelaide by 14 points at half time last night, the Power booted 7 goals in the third quarter to run away with a 23 point win.

Despite the loss, it was another strong showing from Lance “Buddy” Franklin, adding four goals, while Newcastle’s Isaac Heeney scored one of his own.

“It’s hard to look at the positives now when there’s so many negatives but the likes of Buddy etc playing their roles still so we just need to get back to the basics and really focus on that”
