The Newcastle Knights say scans have confirmed that Mitchell Pearce suffered a ruptured pectoral muscle in last night’s win over the Tigers.
Pearce will see a shoulder specialist this week to schedule surgery on the injury.
He’s expected to be sidelined for approximately 16 weeks.
