NOBBY’S SILENT IN GRATITUDE FOR ANZAC DAWN SERVICE

They hailed from suburbs and towns across the country – ordinary men and women who carried the country on their shoulders as they faced the ravages of war.

And every ANZAC Day…communities come together to say thank you – in their own unique and personal way.

In Newcastle, thousands of people braved the elements – standing in solemn silence at Nobby’s Beach for the dawn service.
