COFFS HARBOUR TO BECOME NEW REGIONAL MARITIME HUB

It was the kind of announcement you might expect in a key seat, featuring major policy, jobs and the Deputy Prime Minister.

But the Coffs Harbour press conference didn’t run quite to plan.

” Lets move Australia beyond Coal ”
What a great message in these times of increasing global warming effects caused by burning fossil fuels.
Its a disgrace that our politicians are not leading on the Climate Emergency we are facing according to the eminent climate scientist’s IPCC report.
Bill Shorten said yesterday “I believe that our policies on renewable energy will actually reduce our emissions. The actual decision about Adani is not going to affect Australian emissions,”
And today Michael McCormack said to me “the climate is always changing and we need coal in our energy mix for years to come.”
These politicians need a great big Science lesson to Stop their Climate Change Denial!
