STEPHANIE GILMORE WINS SEVENTH SURFING WORLD TITLE

Stephanie Gilmore has won a seventh world title, to move alongside Layne Beachley as women’s surfing’s greatest of all time.

The title race came down to the final event in Maui, but no one expected it would be resolved on the opening day.
