A man’s been taken to hospital in a critical condition, after he was found lying face down and partially submerged in a creek at Lake Macquarie.
Emergency services including five ambulance crews were called to Kahibah Road at Kahibah just after midday on Saturday, after a passer-by noticed the man not moving at the bottom of an embankment.
It’s understood the man, who had been riding a motorbike, may have been in the gully since Friday night.
He was taken to Newcastle’s John Hunter Hospital suffering chest and abdominal injuries.
