A man has been charged with murder, after a fatal shooting west of Newcastle on Saturday.
The 30 year old was arrested at a Wallsend home at around 4 o’clock this morning – 12 hours after the body of a 38 year old man was found with a single gunshot wound in the garage of a Maryland property.
Police say both men were known to each other and have confirmed the incident isn’t bikie related
