POLICE BACK DOWN ON PENINSULA PARKING FINES

Police are backing down on hundreds of fines issued to Peninsula residents in recent weeks.

It comes as locals refused to pay the bill for parking on nature strips in front of their homes in a bid to keep narrow streets safe.
