Fine weather is set to continue west of the Divide, while onshore winds will ensure showers continue to fall along the coast.
The highest rainfall totals will be in the north east corner of New South Wales, and across the border in South East Queensland.
Elsewhere, the nation is largely clear of cloud with temperatures again on the rise for the centre.
