KNIFE, DRUG PARAPHERNALIA FOUND IN LEARNER DRIVER’S CAR

An unaccompanied learner driver has allegedly been found with a knife in Tuggerawong.

Officers say they caught the 29-year-old woman speeding in an unregistered car, with false number plates.

A search of the vehicle allegedly found scales and drug paraphernalia, while a male passenger had a taser and knuckle duster concealed in his pants.

The pair were arrested and charged and will face Wyong Local Court later this month.
