INVESTIGATION UNDERWAY AFTER ROCK FISHERMAN DROWNS NEAR LENNOX HEAD

A fisherman has drowned after being washed off rocks near Lennox Head on the far north coast.

Witnesses rushed to help him – but despite their brave efforts, and those of paramedics, the man couldn’t be saved.
