TANCRED CONTINUES CHIBA CAMPAIGN

Avoca surfer Caleb Tancred has made it through to round five at the Chiba Open in Japan.

It was a relatively low-scoring heat but the teenager managed to cruise through.

He’ll now battle Hiroto Ohhara for a spot in the quarter finals.
