HARVEST FESTIVAL NETS MILLIONS FOR CENTRAL COAST ECONOMY

The long weekend’s Harvest Festival has been mooted as a success.

Attractions like getting up close with farmyard friends, vegetable picking demonstrations, and rifling for pecans netting a sizeable $8 million for the local tourism economy.

While council says the number of those playing farmer for a day doubled on last year’s figures: 32,000 people attended events in the Central Coast Hinterland.
