It’s been a massive weekend for the racing stables of Cody Morgan, with the Tamworth horse trainer picking-up a double at Rosehill Gardens yesterday.
Morgan lined-up ‘Pat’s Nipper’ in race two, with champion jockey Hugh Bowman guiding the four-year-old gelding home in the Highway Class 3 Plate.
His second winner coming in race six with ‘Ligulate’, before the focus shifted to Townsville, where Tamworth Cup winner ‘Unbiased’ finished second in the $150,000 Townsville Cup.
