MOTHER OF EIGHT SENTENCED OVER FEBRUARY BUSHFIRE

A woman has avoided jail for lighting a fire in Tabulam, which went on to scorch 7000 hectares.

Natasha Spiller pleaded guilty to a lesser charge in court this morning, and was handed a community corrections order.
