Four men have been arrested at the Newcastle 500 this afternoon.
At around 3:30pm, police were parolling the event when they were approached by four men – two 29-year-olds, a 30-year-old and a 34-year-old.
When asked to leave the licensed area, police will allege the men failed to leave and behaved in an offensive manner.
As a result, the men were arrested – during which police used Pepper Spray.
All four men have been taken to Newcastle Police Station where they are assisting with inquiries.
