MAYFIELD PAIR CHARGED WITH ATTEMPTED MURDER

A man and woman from Newcastle are in custody tonight, accused of attempted murder.

Police allege Daniel Gordon and Sarah Pinkett were the masterminds of a robbery gone wrong, which almost cost a Sydney man his life.
