Police have finished a five-day operation targeting speeding and drink driving across the Far North Coast.
34 highway patrol vehicles were out in force across the Tweed-Byron and Richmond Police Districts for Operation Trident, conducting more than 1,500 breath tests.
Ten people were charged for drink driving, while 101 speeding offences were issued.
Police say they’ll start the next phase of the operation in the coming months.
