MAITLAND EAGER TO TEST THEMSELVES IN SYDNEY-BASED COMPETITION

The Newcastle Rugby League board is meeting to discuss a one-off tournament for clubs, after scrapping its first grade competition.

But the Maitland Pickers say they’re keen to test themselves in the Sydney-based Ron Massey Cup.
