Northern Rivers’ students can get up close and personal with a range of cuddly creatures at the Macadamia Castle, with a term-long course launched today.
The program, which will run fortnightly on Monday and Tuesdays, is designed for kids who are homeschooled – educating them about a number of species.
“Anybody who has taught school kids knows they have a fairly short attention span… having them in a classroom and then go out and do a bit of prac and then come back and do a bit more education that’s great,” Tony Gilding said.
Expressions of interest are now open online for Term Four.
