WOMAN SENTENCED AFTER DRIVING MORE THAN SIX TIMES THE ALCOHOL LIMIT

A Port Macquarie woman has been disqualified from driving for 18-years, after she was caught behind the wheel at more than six-times the legal alcohol limit.

Nicole Creighton was today handed an eight-month intensive community corrections order – meaning she’ll avoid jail – for high-range drink-driving.

The 45-year-old blew 0.338 after crashing her Ford Falcon into a carpark along Kennedy Drive in April.

She has 120 hours of community service work to complete by April next year.
