A cyclist was seriously hurt when he crashed his bike in Broken Head this morning.
The 60-year-old was riding with a group when a stick became lodged in his wheel spokes.
He was airlifted to Gold Coast University Hospital, where he remains in a serious but stable condition with a head injury.
