It’s been one year since bushfires tore through the Richmond Valley.
Starting in the vicinity of Myall Creek Road at Bora Ridge, the fires scorched more than 100,000 hectares of land.
As much of the community continues to recover, Richmond Valley Council says plans are underway to formally acknowledge the event.
