DRIVER FREED FROM WADALBA CRASH

A female driver had to be freed from the wreck after her hatchback struck a tree at Wadalba overnight.

Emergency services were called to Johns Road just after 11:30pm.

The woman was taken to John Hunter Hospital in a stable condition.
