DOZENS TAKE TO THE GREEN FOR BOWLS CHARITY FUNDRAISER

Dozens of bowlers took to the greens at Evans Head Bowling Club this afternoon, to raise money for an important cause.

Locals wore pink to support the club’s fundraiser for breast cancer awareness.

“We normally do it in May but due to COVID we couldn’t do that. The guys haven’t been together. We haven’t been able to network at all,” Evans Head Bowling Club CEO, Roger Hong, said.

Over the past two decades, the club has raised more than $80,000 for local charities.
