New signs now let drivers know they’re travelling through Darkinjung Country.
It’s the second location in the state Transport for New South Wales has selected under a pilot program which pays tribute to the area’s Aboriginal history.
They can be spotted at Bushells Ridge, Catherine Hill Bay, Cheero Point, Doyalson, Empire Bay and Ourimbah.
