GAVS WEATHER | HEAVY RAIN FOR NORTH COAST AND SOUTH EAST QUEENSLAND

There is masses of cloud now spilling across most of the country.

It really is an incredible sight now after so many years of hot dry Decembers.

Increased activity across the tropics as the wet season takes hold and instantly becomes one of the best starts on record for the NW shelf.

Heavy rain is now also going to impact the east during the next week.

The next low in the NW is going to produce large amounts of rain over the Pilbara and Kimberly.

Cooler conditions will dominate eastern Australia as another southerly moves up the NSW coast tonight producing more wet weather with a lot more to come over the next week.

Some valuable falls will come down inland.

Periods of heavy rain and strong winds in between Kempsey and the Gold Coast.

Overcast with showers for the Greater Hunter. Mostly fine in the far NW.
