Police are reminding Far North Coast motorists to lock their cars following a spate of break-ins this week.
In Byron Bay, Paterson and Beachcomber streets have had a number of items and cars stolen.
Meanwhile, in the Tweed – Phillip, Shell and Sand streets have recorded several incidents.
Officers say keeping valuables out of sight is the best deterrent.
