Two Lake Macquarie riders have scored podiums, at the Kiteboarding Australia Wave Nationals in Victoria.
World Tour competitor Peri Roberts handled the blustery onshore conditions at Torquay better than her rivals to claim victory in the open women’s division.
Roberts outclassed Victoria’s Anna Williams and South Coast rider, Ashley Brunette.
In the open men’s division, recently crowned New South Wales champion, Evan Burrows was out to claim his first national title.
He went close, finishing runner-up to Jack Bailey from the Sunshine Coast.
