A man has been refused bail after police allegedly uncovered more than $2m worth of cocaine hidden inside a car on the Far North Coast.
Officers intercepted the vehicle on the Pacific Highway near Bangalow – they say searches uncovered six sealed packages containing 6.7kg of the drug, and cash.
The 24-year-old driver has been charged with large commercial drug supply, and is due to face Byron Bay Local Court on Monday.
