Tamworth doctors are hopeful more residents aged under 40 will sign up for the AstraZeneca jab, in line with updated health advice.
Local GP clinic staff have already been run off their feet organising appointments for the sudden uptake.
They say people shouldn’t wait to discuss getting vaccinated.
The Tamworth Respiratory Clinic typically provides more than 200 jabs a day.
