KYOGLE SHIRE ACCIDENTALLY “AMBER” ZONED DUE TO SPELLING ERROR

There was mass confusion in Kyogle overnight, with the Queensland Government website accidentally declaring the shire an Amber Zone.

A close contact venue in the Sydney suburb of Rosebery was mistaken for the Northern Rivers town of Roseberry, due to a spelling error.

New South Wales Health and the Queensland Government has since fixed the error.

All Northern New South Wales shires have since returned to ‘blue’ zone status.
