New South Wales Rugby League has named Jack Woolaston as the Northern Regions volunteer of the year.
The 97-year-old has been heavily involved with the North Tamworth Bears for more than 75 years.
The North Tamworth field now even bears his name.
Club members say there isn’t a position on the field or behind the scenes he hasn’t had.
