A school has closed in the Northern Rivers after a new COVID-19 case was detected in the region.
Rivers Secondary College’s Kadina Campus was forced to shut for deep cleaning overnight.
The new case in Casino is a household contact linked to the Nambucca Heads funeral cluster on October 23.
Residents in Mullumbimby and Brunswick Heads are also being asked to remain vigilant – after fragments of the virus were found in sewage samples.
