A man has died in a single-vehicle crash at Tamworth yesterday.
Emergency services were called to Peel Street shortly after six o’clock last night, following reports a Foton utility had left the road and crashed into a fence.
Despite the best efforts of fellow motorists and paramedics, the driver – a 59-year-old man – died at the scene.
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
