Reigning Trans Am champion Nathan Herne has won race two at the second day of the opening round of the speed series at Tasmania’s Symmons Plains.
The 19-year-old pulled out all the stops – coming from the second row to take the lead from Kyle Gurton on the opening lap.
In race three, the Lismore local had to settle for second place, behind Tim Brook with the race ending under safety car.
Herne will now prepare for next round at Phillip Island in March.
