The Central Coast again proved why it’s such a strong breeding ground for surfing talent, with Joel Vaughan and Molly Picklum taking out the Pro Junior event at Avoca at the weekend.
Vaughan was a convincing winner over Sydney’s Kobi Clements, and will now compete in the Tweed Coast Pro
For Picklum, it was a little closer – finishing half a point ahead of Port Kembla’s Charli Hurst.
Bells Beach will be the next stop on the Women’s World Tour next month.
