INQUIRY FINDS PILOT ERROR IN FATAL 2019 PORT STEPHENS HELICOPTER CRASH

Family and friends of the five people killed in a helicopter crash off Port Stephens in 2019, have tonight been given a level of closure.

A coroner today finding the pilot wasn’t trained or qualified to be flying in the conditions at the time.
